VK3XEM on the Net

     Welcome to VK3XEM on the Net, my name is Simon Templar and I live in Healesville, which is about 65 Kilometres from Melbourne.  VK3XEM is my Amateur (Ham) Radio callsign which I have held for many years.  I am also a member of the Yarra Valley Amateur Radio Group (Formerly the Healesville Amateur Radio Group), which operates the VK3RYV Repeater on 146.725 MHz and the VK3YVG IRLP Node 6414.

     My other interests include Police and Emergency Services communications, Computers and WiFi, mobile phones and CB Radio.  I have also been a licensed Security Officer for over 20 years although I am on a Disability Support Pension so only work occassionaly to keep the licence and earn a few extra dollars.

     So you will see me posting articles about my hobbies and intrests on here, if you have any questions you can contact me via the contact form.  You are also welcome to leave a comment on the Guestbook but it will be moderated to remove abuse.
